Yoga Beginners Course

Yoga Beginners Course

Would you like to start with yoga, or are you looking to deepen your practice? Then this 5-week yoga course is the perfect place to start!

Yoga creates harmony between body, mind and spirit. Through movement and postures, you’ll develop strength and flexibility—both physically and mentally. Through breath awareness, you’ll (re)connect with yourself and learn how to handle stress with greater ease. The complete yoga system allows energy to flow more freely, brings balance, clarity, and a sense of wellbeing.

Program

The course consists of 5 sessions of 2 hours each. Every class follows a clear structure, combining yoga practice, breathing techniques, and theory. Together we will explore:

  • Postures (Asanas): Learn the foundational postures of Hatha Yoga. Discover how to move in and out of each posture safely, and how to prevent injuries.

  • Breathing (Pranayama): You will learn breathing exercises like Kapalabhati and Analoma Viloma in a grounded and safe way. Develop breath awareness during the practice of the postures.

  • Positive Mindset: Get to know the Yamas (universal values) and Niyamas (disciplines), and learn how to integrate them both on the mat and into daily life. The way you relate to yourself, others, and your practice is the heart of yoga.

  • Slowing Down & Relaxation: Learn how to create moments of rest and stillness. In the midst of daily life’s business, slowing down helps to return to yourself.

  • Nutrition: Yoga and Ayurveda go hand in hand. Explore which foods suit your body best—simple, seasonal, and nourishing.
